Lake Placid Novice International Dance Competition

Does anyone know if this event is taking place this year? I haven't seen any info about it anywhere. Last year it took place at the same time as the summer dance competition.

If I understand correctly there is a novice competition. But perhaps you just ask them directly?

No, Sparkey was asking about the *international* novice dance event, which was by invitation only, and is not taking place this summer (as confirmed by greenthal above). This was last year's competition:
