Tiffany Vise and Derek Trent have teamed up and will compete together next season as seniors. They will remain in Coloardo Springs and will be coached by Irina Vorobieva, and they will compete at the Indy Challenge in August.

Interesting match. Derek, for those who don't remember, skated with Stacey Pensgen this past season, but they recently split. (He was also a national and international medalist at the junior level with Brandi Sandoval and Katie Gadkowski.) This will be another mirror pair, since Derek isn't a lefty. He must be at least 23 now, so these two would have to focus entirely on senior competition.

Glad to know Tiffany will be back in competition next season! :)

Interesting swap... Vise/Ibarra and Sandoval/Trent have now become Vise/Trent and Sandoval/Ibarra. Should be very interesting to watch, and best of luck to both teams!

A mirror team means they spin/jump in opposite directions. Tiffany is a clockwise skater and Derek is counterclockwise (Yamaguchi was CCW and Galindo CW when they skated together). Of course, they have to decide which direction to rotate pair spins, throws, death spirals, etc. as a pair.

So how many new Sr. teams do we have now? Any guesses as to who will be at Indy Challenge? Should be a good competition!

This is great news. Tiffiany and Brandi both have such great potential in pairs, as do Derek and Larry. Hope it works for everyone.

Should be interesting at Indy since I have seen it posted that Vise/Cole will also skate Senior at that competition. I suppose this is an indication that we will see both sisters compete against each other at qualifying competitions this year. Or, are Vise and Cole staying Junior? Anyone know?

ALRIGHT TIFFANY!!!!!! CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!! You are now offically Vise/Trent!!!! What is the link to the new fan site? Also Derek if you should read this your partner is in god hands. Or if your not a member maybe Tiffany can sign you up. We would love to have you. We are a very friendly bunch. Once again...GO TIFFANY!!!!!!! YAY!!!!!!
