2006 worlds tickets

does anyone know when tickets for the 2006 worlds will be on sale?

I don't know if anyone knows the actual date yet, but I'd say at least not until after next year's worlds. Tickets for 2005 worlds aren't on sale yet. Although, I would imagine Calgary will get them selling with more time before the event than Moscow. I think they have more tickets to sell and tickets will be more expensive. The CFSA website will eventually put the date up.

IIRC, tickets for Vancouver went on sale sometime in late 99 or early 2000. So if Skate Canada organizes Calgary Worlds the same way as Vancouver Worlds, tickets will probably go on sale in late 2004 or early 2005 (approximately 15 months before the event).

This is all just speculation on my part though.

Tickets for 2001 Worlds went on sale June 1st 2000 at 12 pm Eastern time.

Tour groups will have ticket packages on sale prior to that date.

Oh that's right. Now that you mention it, I do remember the tickets going on sale at that time. I didn't have to buy tickets through the organizers because I ordered a package with Downhill Riders. I remember sitting back that day thinking about how nice it was I didn't have to try to squeeze through on the phone lines, lol.

Acording to the Skate Canada press release tickets will go on sale in the fall of 2004!

I thought it said that ticket information would be released in the fall of 2004.
