Elizabeth Punsalan and Jerod Swallow are expecting their first child in December:

I guess whatever was in the water at SOI has spread to COI. :lol: Congratulations to the newest set of skating parents-to-be!

Congrats to Liz and Jerod! That's great news! December 3, huh? That means they probably conceived around mid-March, and skated the whole summer tour pregnant! Having just finished the first trimester, it's a great time to announce! Congrats, L&J!!

I recently found out that Paul and Kate Wylie are expecting their first child also... :)

Congrats to them! I guess this means they won't be in the Bacharach show in October (or is it in September?)

Kruss, you got to be kidding me?! Did these guys all plan this?! It's incredible! Well, congrats to Paul and Kate too!

What's so amazing is that not only are there so many expectant skating parents out there, they are all first-time parents and they all know each other very well!

What an exciting time!

Do I know about all the pregnancies? The ones I know of are Scott Hamilton & Wife, and Kurt and Sonja (and now Liza & Jared and :aul & Kate.) Are there any more?

Wow, Kruss! When is Paul and Kate's baby due? Congratulations to them as well! Should we expect a "SOI: The Next Generation" show 20-25 years from now? :lol:

I think Paul and his wife should have a very nice Christmas present this year because their baby is due in December. :)

Kurt and Sonia next month
Scott and Tracy in Sept
Kristi and Bret in October
Josef and his wife (sorry, blanking on her name at the moment) also in the fall
Paul and Kate in December
Liz and Jerod in December

Yikes!! 8O That's a lot of bundles of joy in the skating world. :) Congrats to all the expecting parents.

Kurt and Sonia also know they're having a boy. As my cousin who is an ultrasound tech knows though, the cord can show up in a place during a scan that can trick everyone when it comes to gender, so I guess we'll have to wait and see. :)

With all the SOI alums, having babies, I wouldn't be surprised if there was a group number involving strollers next season!
By the way got a peek at Elena B. baby last weekend at a competition in NC- he's a little chunker!
