...of last years novices, taylor and meissner are the only ones with the jumps AND artistry to do well in junior (imo). if one of the other junior ladies doesn't do well brianna perry should get one too. also think that donovan and al. czisny are sick of the jgp and will senior b competitions

Castile/Okolski 2
Schmidt/Pottenger 2
Uhlig/Loomis 2
Yount/Marron 2
...and two teams from Indy. Harkaway/Davis will probably get two. the other two will probably go to Varraux/Pelletier (assuming they are still together)

Devins/O’Keefe 2
Davis/White 2
Pratt/Gilles 2
Wingle/Warren 2

...this is what i think will happen. what i think should happen is that wingle/warren and cepican/lichtor should each get one and that solomon/smith should get a shot. but thats just me

If they follow last year's method, the JGP assignments for dance will be 2 for Matthews and Zavozin, 1 for Devins and O'Keefe, 1 for Donowick and Ungar, and 1 for Pratt and Gilles. The rest will have to compete at Lake Placid and earn 1 spot with a second assignment if they do well at the first.

With so many teams splitting up, Davis and White should get one based on being successful at previous International competitions. I don't see any more assignments until after Lake Placid where the new teams and the novices that have moved up will have to demonstrate that they have everything ready for this season. JK

you've probably noticed the post that says wingle/warren have split, so that improves the opportunities of both solomon/smith and whetstone/cohen for assignment.

previously, the new teams and the novices moving up, except for the novice champions, have had to slug it out at lake placid to earn one international. recently, placement in the first international has determined the assignment of a second international.
