I was wondering if someone could answer this question for me.
What happens if a team (pairs or dance) makes it on the National Team, but then splits with their partner?
Are they automatically off the team? On it with their new partner? What happens?
Thanks. :)

I'm not sure how it works in Canada, but I'd imagine it's the same as in the U.S. Pairs and dance teams are named as [i:958f63a4ee]teams[/i:958f63a4ee]--if they split, they lose their placement on the national team, period.

Skate Canada has the 2002-2003 National senior and junior teams on its website and only the dance and pair teams that are still together are listed so its the same in Canada.
