I'm looking forward to see how Kostner holds things together this season. I think both her, Volchkove and Arakawa should be able to beat Kirk.
But I've got my black horse too. ;) In the men's competition I'll be cheering for Ilya Klimkin. He's an amazing skater who got both the style and the techinical ability to reach the top - if he could only pull it all together.

For ladies, I say Sasha and Viktoria on the podium for sure, with the other spot taken by either Kostner or Arakawa. For men, Tim and Takeshi will be on the podium, but a few of the others will battle for the last spot.

ok, just for the fun of
ladies: That's what I think could happen, although I would rather see Victoria in the top of the podium and Sasha and Carolina next to her
1.Cohen
2.Volchkova
And that all depends, to me it can easily change, Tchaikoskaya is a very good coach and Victoria is a very wonderful skater, but If Sasha gets consistent, she will win. And also it's the whole CoP...who knows what is going to turn out
3.Kostner. She might not have that "thing" yet but with her skating skill would be good enough to keep her in the podim
men:
I will be cheering for Ilia too!!!!! He has a quad toe and a quad sal, his problem is that he is too inconsisten, one day he wins and the next he is sooo off that breaks my heart, I imagine he will keep his "Mr. Diesel" program since he has just use it twice (I loved Sunny Boy)
My dream podium will be
1. Klimkin (plz!!! you can do it!!!!)
2. Honda (if he wasn't competing agains Ilia, I would be cheering for him)
3. Goebel
4. Timshenko
So I'll be cheering for that podium to happen

SA Predictions:
1. Cohen
2. Arakawa
3. Kostner
4. Volchkova
5. Kirk
Cohen will be in first, SP and LP, because I think even if her skating isn't perfect, her presentation points will be enough, and I think she'll make the least amount of major mistakes. (I figure since it's the first major comp, all the competitors will make mistakes) I figure Kirk and Volchkova will probably bomb in one either the SP or LP, since that's what they usually do early in the season. Kostner will probably be much lower in the SP but move into 3rd or 4th in the LP because of consistent jumping and her 3-3s. Arakawa, who's time I think is going to be next season, will finally get the nod presentation wise.
1. Geobel
2. Honda
3/4. Klimkin
4/3. Zhang
5. Weiss
Fairly sure about one and two. The rest--who knows? Klimkin could medal, he could be last. (I know where I'd put him.) Same with Weiss. I figure Zhang's pretty consistent--either 3rd or 4th, depending on how others skate.
1. Belbin and Agosto
2. Grushgons
3. Lang and Tcherenshev
4. Faiella & Scali
5. Gregory and Petukhov
Mwahahahahahahaha, my upset prediction in evil dance.
(Pairs. Yawn.)
1. Pang and Tong
2. Zhang and Zhang
3. Abitol and Bernadis
4. Petrova and Tikhinov
5. Kawaguchi & Markuntsov

I predict the men's event will be a major yawn (only interesting skaters are Jahnke and Murvandize), Pang & Tong will deservedly beat Petrova & Tikhonov and this time actually be placed ahead of them (unlike the pathetic excuse for judging that happened in DC), Belbin & Agosto will be given the gold by the CoP over Grushina & Goncharov (if there is a god this will happen), and basically the entire ladies event will be exciting to watch. :)

I think Sasha will probably win, although I wouldn't be surprised to see a Kosntner upset if Sasha really bombs. Mens... Goebel will probably win with all his quads. Then Honda will probably get silver, and Klimkin and Weiss will fight it out for Bronze, hopefully Klimkin will get it.
In paris I'm hoping for Pang and Tong to win, and Petrova and Tikinov will probably get silver, if they make too many mistakes, they will probably be overtaken by the Zhangs. In dance, I wouldn't be suprised to see both Americans ahead of the Grushgons after the OD, but they will probably prevail in the FD. Maybe L/T will do really good, because it's their non scoring event.
