I'm rather surprised to hear Elvis' agent learned about his GP assignments through a reporter instead of Elvis himself:

Yah, thanks! But his agent is right, they really aren't in a position to be picky about the internationals that Skate Canada gives Elvis, as he hasn't competed in over a year, and there are many other deserving men out there.

That's true. If Elvis got special treatment many people would be quite upset. :D

I really wish Alexei was coming to Skate Canada. I mean, it seems so wrong for him not to be there. Last year was bad enough!

I really though that Alexei was going to skip GP this year too and just do Nats to make the team. Because it seems too soon for him to compete after a surgery thats seems very delicate, I hope he knows what he is doing and not rush things up.

I'm sure he'll drop the GP comps if he sees it fit. The last thing he would want would be to reinjure himself, so hopefully he'll be real careful.

There was just something missing from this season, and I know a large part of it was him.
