I think the China event will be changed to somewhere else do to SARS. So who ever has China as their event will be skating for that week somewhere else. So Elvis really has Skate Canada and somewhere else. TBA

Don't you think it's a bit premature to assume that the China competition will be cancelled due to SARS?!!!!

I talked to Elvis on Monday night at COI about his GP assignments, and he seems very excited. He was definitely enthused about competing in Canada again. While I have difficulty understanding his desire to come back, Elvis seemed very determined to do well, and I wish him the best of luck.

He expressed a bit of concern about SARS and skating in China, but said he trusts the ISU to make the right decision regarding where the competition will be held. And, as he said, there's a risk right now in Canada, too, and he wouldn't wish to withdraw from that event.

I'm attending Skate Canada and am sure that everyone there will be thrilled to see Elvis return, and hopefully do well.

Its quite a possibility, however one doesn't know what is going to happen from now till then. But its definitly something I think the ISU would definitly take into consideration.
