Isn't it drawn heavily from the opera, La Forza del Destino? I'm not familiar with that opera much, just some arias.

Candeloro deffinately did not skate to that aspect of the music.

Generally, most operas contain very lyrical music of great complexity which therefore suits itself to especilly an LP.

Brooke Castile and Ben Okolski skated to the theme to the Godfather for short last season.

Sylwia Nowak & Sebastian Kolasnski, the Polish Nat.Ice Dance Champions skated to the theme from the "Godfather" at the 2001 Worlds in Vancouver. IMO, it was pretty awful.

Philippe had his short and long to the Godfather for both the 1994 and 1995 seasons...bit of an overkill but he stood on the world podium both times and won the bronze at the Olympics.
