And the Sr team:

I wonder why Signe Ronka isn't still on the Jr team?

Thanks for the links. Ronka probably wasn't included on a technicality --she was injured and did not compete at 2003 Canadians. Refer to last year's criteria, which reads:
"Eligibility for selection to the Junior National Team is based on placement in the top five in Junior events at the BMO Financial Group Canadian Championships in each discipline. In addition for 2003, members of the 2002-2003 Junior National Team, who competed in Senior for the first time at the 2003 Canadian Championships, who did not qualify for the National Team..."

It also says "as well as athletes who qualified for the 2002 Junior National Team, by virtue of their placement in Novice last year, and who competed at the Junior level at the 2003 BMO Financial Group Canadian Championships, will remain on the Junior National Team for the 2003-2004 season."
Shouldn't Stephanie Tremblay be on the team then? She was 1st in Novice last season and 9th in Juniors this season. And she is listed for the Edmonton NACS so I take that to mean she is still skating... is it simply a mistake on Skate Canada's part?

Yah...I'm not sure...It must be a mistake! I don't think they can take a person off the team...Look at Mike Craigmyle, he was third last year in Novice Men, and he bombed this year's Nationals, and he's still on it...:??

Any word on what Nicole Watt is doing next season? Is she still injured?

I agree Signe Ronka should be on the team because of her 3rd place finish last year since Micheal Craigmyle is still on the team, but you have to remember Micheal competed this year and made it to nationals. Signe didn't compete this year so she doesn't deserve to. I know she went to the grand prix finals and jr. worlds, but this isn't what factors in on who makes the team.
