Thats a nice article! Thanks for posting it, Anything about Sasha Cohen Rules! Its good to hear that she enjoys working with other skaters because I believe she is sterotyped at a really snobby person. This article certainly doesnt display that!

Thanks for the link terisalyn!

I know Sasha has a sister, but her name isn't Sarah is it? I noticed that under the picture on the right side of the article it said "Sarah Cohen". Misprint?

Thanks for the article! It says she's trying to become the first woman to land a quad; correct me if I'm wrong, but did Miki Ando not beat her to that already?!

A. No, Natasha does not skate.

B. No, Natasha is the nickname for Natalia, not Alexandra.

I hear Natasha's an excellent pianist. I've always wondered how good she is and if she's planning a career in it, but I've never been able to find out. Has anyone here heard anything about this?

Natalia is the Russian form of Natalie, and Natasha is a Russian familiar form of Natalia, just like Alexandra becomes Sasha. Sometimes there is a series of nicknames, getting progressively more and more familiar. My daughter's name, for instance, is Katherine, but her Russian ballet teacher calls her Katia, Katoosha, or Katooshinka. If you're interested in various forms of names, you might check out baby name lists, either in books or online. They usually list a number of ethnic variations and diminutives.
