I never knew Brian had such a great sense of humor:

Hmm, I wonder who mistook Brian for Michelle Kwan when selecting the accompanying photo?

Thanks for posting :) I finally got round to watching the South Park movie the other day and couldn't stop laughing during the infamous "What would Brian Boitano do?" I'm guessing they had to ask his permission to use him in the song like that? What did he think of it? :D

He got a kick out of the song....and it also lowered the average age of his fan base a bit! LOL

I *knew* he and I were kindred spirits! I LOVE Dr. Pepper! :D

Brian B. has a wonderful sense of humor. I've met him several times while volunteering at events he has participated in. He doesn't take himself seriously at all, and loves to tease people. As a friend of mine said, "Brian is a hoot!"

Boitano is a very humorous guy. He has turned up as a 'talking head' commentator on VH1's "I Love 1984" and other years...these shows take irreverent looks back at pop culture of the year.

I read somewhere that the South Park Boitano obsession grew out the show creators' college years. They were juniors or seniors at college in Colorado during the 1988 Olympics, and there was a lot of skating coverage in local media, with all the Colorado -based skaters making the Olympic team.
