There's a brief blurb in this week's Entertainment Weekly about Katarina Witt working on a new book "of antidotes and advice" with E.M. Swift (who co-wrote "My Sergei"). The book should be published in fall 2004.

Let's hope they meant:
an·ec·dote (²n“¹k-d½t”) n. 1. A short account of an interesting or humorous incident. 2., pl. an·ec·dotes or an·ec·do·ta (-d½“t…). Secret or hitherto undivulged particulars of history or biography. [French, from Greek anekdota, unpublished items : an-, not; see A-1 + ekdota, neuter pl. of ekdotos, published (from ekdidonai, to publish : ek-, out; see ecto- + didonai, to give; see d½- below).]
If they really meant:
an·ti·dote (²n“t¹-d½t”) n. 1. A remedy or other agent used to neutralize or counteract the effects of a poison. 2. An agent that relieves or counteracts: jogging as an antidote to nervous tension. [Middle English, from Latin antidotum, from Greek antidoton, from antididonai, to give as a remedy against : anti-, anti- + didonai, do-, to give; see d½- below.] --an”ti·dot“al (²n”t¹-d½t“l) adj. --an”ti·dot“al·ly adv.
Then, are they saying they have a remedy to skating? Hmmm....maybe they have a fix to the corruption within the judging system.....
Yea, that's it. 8-)
Of course, they did say "antidotes and advice." So, when you think of it. There would be advice on how to use the antidote.....but, what advice does one need about a humorous story?
