Emanuel Sandhu's Surgeon - Dr. McCormick

Hello, Everyone

I just thought I would share something with everyone on here, today I went to see my knee Surgeon, Dr. Robert McCormick in New Westminister, BC and what I found out was that he also operated on Emanuel Sandhu's knee - pretty kewl that the same Doctor (surgeon) will be operating on my knee - pretty kewl huh!! Isn't is a small world!! I just wanted to share that with everyone, thanks for reading.

PML. I don't think the doctor who did his cheek implants will be confessing anytime soon. Otherwise, he/she runs the risk of ruining his/her practice considering what the final result looks like. :twisted:

Hey Karategirl....I have the same surgeon as Emanuel too.
On a sidenote - he diagnosed my knee wrong and I got the same surgery as Emanuel did last year, all for nothing. It's only in more pain now, and I have to get surgery again. :S

Hello,

That is really good to know - thank you for letting me know that. I hurt my right knee in Nov. 2002 - during one of my martial arts classes. I have already been to the UBC sports clinic and even they recommended me to see him (Dr. McCormick). You mentioned that you have to have another surgery, have you already been to another surgeon? I am trying to find a really good one as well - because I really have to go back to karate soon. I really miss it & the longer I am out the harder it will be to get back. I wonder how Emanuel's knee is doing? Would you know if Dr. McCormick was the one who did your surgery? The reason I ask is because I am not sure if he will be doing my surgery or if it will be an assisitant so it is good to know these things before hand. Well, I would like to know more about your situation if you don't mind - you are more than welcome to e-mail me. Once again thank you for letting me know about the surgeon and your experience wasn't good!!

I have to admit Eman's knees were not the first thing I thought of when I saw the title for this thread:D
Just out of curiosity, does anyone know if these kind of implants can be removed?
there's a hint in that by the way.

Dito as well. Anyone see the pictures from World's over at Skate Canada. Pictures from the banquet held after World's? I just thought Eman looked weird. In the pictures it looked like he was wearing make-up - even lipstick. Maybe it was just the lighting?

Thanks for the heads up blade1. I don't think that was the lighting. I saw Sandu in the audience at worlds and he wore full makeup all the time. He is getting just too weird. I mean, I know Canada is desperately looking for a replacement for Jennifer Robinson and Elvis Stojko, but which way will he go?

I'm so sorry all you Sandu fans but really, what kind of implants will he get next?

He looked really handsome before, now he just looks gross.

There has been "talk" about him getting cheek implants done. Alot of this chatter was done during Canadians this year as well. But Eman hasn't come out to say "YES I DID" ... Its just from observation more than anything ....
