Did anyone attend the COI show at the Meadowlands this weekend? How was the attendance? Any reports from the show?

I saw the show but didn't post a review because I was somewhat disappointed.
I've been going to COI since 1988 and this was probably the least impressive show I've ever seen with the exception of the closing ensemble number which was very well done in all aspects -
I did enjoy all the ice dancers - and Kazakova and Dmitriev - but with the exception of the Viktor Petrenko's return to a classical program, there just didn't seem to be any highlights to the single skaters - the skating was below average - choreography was practically non-existent in many programs. and Philippe Candeloro's Proud to Be An American did not sit well with me.
I feel that with the ticket prices as high as they are, I should see outstanding performances - that doesn't necessarily mean triples and quads, but something more than just going through the motions is definitely needed.
Most of the audience around me however seemed to love the show, in spite of all the flaws I perceived. But I did choose not to buy a ticket for next year - where they are now offering VIP seats for $95 - give me a break!
Anyway, that's my 2 cents.

I almost forgot to go - I had bought tickets from like last year and only realized on Friday evening that COI was the next day. 1 of my 2 tickets actually went to waste... and I wasn't intending to go this year but was going to sell them off (thought the show was end April!).
Was at the afternoon show - about the only thing that I actually appreciated was Sasha doing a clean performance of Romeo & Juliet. And given I've already seen that at Worlds during the exhibition... well... I really didn't need to go to COI this year.
And I'm not ordering tickets for next year - much prefer competition and smaller one-off shows to the big tours. SOI this year was pretty good.
If I had gotten into gear sooner, I would have been at Ice Chips in Boston instead of COI on Sat... there are some skaters I wanted to see that did that show. Yup - I'd rather drive all the way to Boston, for a club show, instead of watching COI.
