The Halifax Daily News recently published a cute "Q&A" type article about Kurt:

Fortunately, I'm pretty sure this interview won't generate nearly as much controversy as the last Kurt article published on this site. ;)

Kurt should really be more professional. There is no excuse to fall 3 times during a #. May be he should concentrate more on his own skating and less on beating up others.

I think the program Kurt referred to in this article was his "Slippery Side Up" number, in which he falls numerous times--on purpose. :)

Kurt's a trekkie? I never would have guessed!

Yup Sydney, Kurt's a Trekkie. He's given a few hints over the years. In a SOI thing from a long time ago he said his favourite day would be on board the Enterprise. Kurt also did a series of spots for CTV in the mid 90's on how a skater does this, that and the other thing. One of them being how a skater picks their costumes. First thing Kurt was seen in was a Starfleet Captain's unifom complete w/Vulcan ears. Kind of a dead giveaway since no one but a Trekkie would do something like that. :D

As for Kurt being unprofessional for falling three times during a program....Give me a break!! I think someone needs to lighten up a little bit. No one is ever perfect and I'm sure there's not one skater out there who hasn't fallen more than once during a program.

Of all the silliest things....Sheesh....

Really? Now how did I miss that? I watch everything on figure skating, especially in the mid 90s....
