Victoria! If you see her do it in person, you can see the bottom 3 rows of seats in the stands underneath. Well, almost. Seriously, though, if you see her lutz in person you'll be blown away.

Well, I don't know if she has the highest, but I just gasp every time I see Julia Sebastyen do a lutz. Hers are majestic! I wish the American ladies had a lutz that gorgeous.

Viktoria for sure!!! I've watched her practice and compete live, and her jumps all have amazing height and spring to them, with the lutz and flip being the best!!

Vika, no doubt about it. She has the best lutz in the ladies field. She usually does a real lutz but I have seen her flutz(not as bad as Hughes) at times.

I think Sebastyen has better 'spring' in her lutz, but Vika definitely has more power, more control and just more 'oomph' in hers.

Nice to hear people talking about Sebastian's jumping ability. I love her lutz. I love Volchova's too but Julia's really has a WOW factor about it. I also think she has a slightly slower rotation than Vika's so she must be getting pretty high to be able to do that.
Funny how the US ladies have never really done fantastic lutzes (except Harding). But their rotation is usually very quick.

At their peak, Tonya Harding, Kristina Czako, Josee Chouinard and Liz Manley had amazing triple lutzes as well. Not only did they have amazing height, but great distance too.
Lu Chen had a beautiful 3lutz. It may not have had the height of the others, but it had excellent delay and distance.

Thought I should add Midori Ito's name in this thread. She was the best ever female jumper and had such spring and power that her jumps were just the most amazing and spectacular of any woman who has competed. So she may not fit in the current crop of eligible skaters, but would have to rate has having one of the best lutzes ever.

How could I forget Midori.
If anyone has a tape of her long program from 1990 worlds, not only does her 3lutz have amazing height and ice coverage, it looks like she is rotating 5 or six times.
Wow!

When she's on, Annie Bellemare's lutz is probably the best in the world. Huge height, distance, etc. Awesome.
Julia Sebestyn is great too, as is Slutskaya.

Tonya Harding had a great, and true lutz, just HUGE, unbelievable! I think the best one she ever did was in the LP at Lilliehammer...
Oksana Baiul had a huge, very pure lutz.

Have you ever seen the footage of Don Jackson's first triple lutz in 1962? It is the most amazing lutz you will ever see.
