This is copied from my journal so if it's referring to random people just ignore that. Did anyone else from here go to the Rochester show? We had a great time! I did a number by number review when I went to the Buffalo show so this is more of random comments/thoughts.
Oh, and a little bit of background...there were two groups of 3 that had already met each other within the group but then we were meeting the other group for the first time and we were all sitting together. Yay for meeting people from message boards! :)
I also didn't take many pictures compared to Buffalo but I did post a couple that I took last night.

The opening was definitely a good indicator of how loud we would be for the entire show! LOL, poor Amy almost lost her voice that early into the show.
Come Fly With Me was as great as it always is. Have I mentioned that I love this number? ;) We definitely cheered a lot when Dave came out by himself! :) The 6 of us were definitely singing along the entire time. Luckily for us the people around us were very amused by us so it was all good. The funniest part was that the kiss before the death spiral was right in front of us and in unison all 6 of us went "AWWWWW!!!". I'm pretty sure that they heard us because between the 6 of us it was a pretty loud AWWW!! (and because Dave got a funny grin during the death spiral). Then while they were bowing we had pulled out the Canadian flag which got some thumbs up from Jamie and a little wave from Dave! :)
I'm Your Man (Jenni and Todd) was as cute as ever. I love their facial expressions!!
It was after Kurt's first number that the security guy came down and told us to that if we waved the flags again we would get kicked out. That it was perfectly fine to stand but we couldn't have the flags in front of us. I will never understand that since it's not like us standing with the flag and standing without the flag makes any difference in blocking people's view or anything. Oh well!
Power Play...I've discovered that I really don't listen to the poem at all. I do like this number though, it's great to see two great pairs out on the ice at the same time. Too bad we couldn't wave the flags though because our plan was to have the Canadian, American, and Russian flag out.
Then it was intermission. We had two people from the board come visit us at intermission so that was cool. We knew they would be able to find us pretty easily, we definitely weren't being quiet! The funniest thing was talking to all the people around us because somehow we ended up in the skater's guest section again and everyone was telling us that they didn't understand why we couldn't wave our flags and that it didn't bother them at all and that we should just wave them anyways. I think Renée Roca's parents went up and asked the security guy why we couldn't...it was pretty amusing. Good to know that we weren't annoying people! Then we were talking to this lady in front of us and it turned out that Kurt had come into the store she works at during the day and gave her and her boss tickets for the show. How awesome is that. 2nd row, center ice tickets from Kurt!! She was so funny too because she was gushing about Kurt so much (apparently he has a fine ***, lol) so then we were telling her that she would definitely enjoy the next number. LOL, who wouldn't enjoy Studz?
So, then it was time for Studz! Still a great number...Jamie came dancing by us just like in Buffalo and gave us a little wave. Then the guys came out and were having just as much fun as they always do! Such a great number (and the lady in front of us definitely enjoyed it!). LOL, after it was done she turned to us and asked, "So how many hail mary's do I have to do now?"
Love on the Rocks is still an amazingly cute number! I love all the interaction between the partners, such great facial expressions! :)
Mme. T After Hours. The audience definitely loved it when Anton first unveiled himself as Elvis. For this number we were singing along for the Marily parts, specifically the "boo boo be doop" parts! The best was when another lady in front of us turned and said "You guys are good!". LOL, we were definitely having way too much fun! :)
Lovin, Touchin, Squeezin was also great! :) Again, we were singing along (although not as loudly as for CFWM or the Marilyn parts). The audience definitely loves the trick moves in this number, not that I don't like them but I hope they keep the good balance they have now of numbers like Come Fly With Me and Lovin, Touchin, Squeezin.
Racing - we definitely had our entire section clapping along with the music. It was great! I think we got a good portion of the arena clapping along, fun times!! :D
Then it was the finale, I couldn't believe that it was already the finale! The show went by so quickly!! And again we were singing along (mainly just for the "I can't stop!") and when it got to the Jennifer Grey part Cassie yelled out "Jennifer Grey" which Erica followed up with "Dirty Dancing!". LOL, I think that definitely confused the people around us!
So then when they finish the number and before they go take their bows, Kurt finished right in front of us and he looked up and pointed at each one of us like he was counting how many of us were from Canada. It was great! And we also got some waves from Jamie and David in the finale, and what looked like a "You're all from Canada" and a big grin from Jamie! :D Fun, fun times!!
Then we decided to go hang out by the tour busses to see if we could meet any of the skaters. Of course, we put our Burger King crowns back on while waiting! ;) When we went outside there was a huge crowd but being the smart people we are we went across the street and around to the back of the busses where there were only about 3 other people standing. So we were the calm crowd which was good. Jenni Meno came out and signed Amy's flag...the rest of us didn't come up with the bright idea to get our crowns signed until after she was gone. Then John Zimmerman came out and on his way to the bus he kind of bowed at us (since we were royalty!) and then he came back out and signed autographs (which is when we came up with the idea to use our crowns). The next skater out was Kurt...on his way over he pointed at us and was like "I saw you guys dancing at the end" and did the motions. Too funny!! So we chatted with him a bit, he wanted to know what kind of trouble we had been up to to get our beaded necklaces. When Amy asked him to sign her flag he was like "Defacing a Canadian flag...of course!". LOL, he was great! :) Then Alexei came out and signed stuff for people but he was limping and didn't seem to be in a great mood. We never saw Jamie and David come out which was a bit disspointing but that's okay. The night was definitely great no matter what!
So, then we found the guys...took a group picture, joked around, had Cassie do some more gymnastics for us, got our stuff from the cars and said our goodbyes! :(
It was great though and hopefully we can make it an annual trip! :D
