I guess I may have noticed, but didn't really dwell on them for all the excitement:

Before the ladies' group went out for the warm-up before the long program, Sarah got hit in the back with a flower (Now NORMALLY I wouldn't think Sarah getting hit at all would be funny, but it's kind of funny because you can hear it, and I don't think it bothered her that much).

When all the skaters are coming off the ice at the end of the Champions' Gala, the tape playing "Light The Fire Within" abruptly cuts off, almost as if to tell us all "It's just TV and we're not really transported into this magical world that we all love so dearly". 8O

Can anyone remember anything else this bizarre or humorus, and not necessarily during the skating events?

CMc, I saw the same thing! I thought it was funny that she was hit on the back by the flowers too. I even thought John Nicks was smiling/smirking at it, but I think he was actually just smiling at Sasha as she looked quite nervous. 8O

I thought that it was also funny when we could hear Scott Hamilton whispering to Tom Hammond, "Abt's got nothing on Goebel" or something to that affect right when the event came back on after the commercial break. It was obviously not meant to be heard on air!

LOL! I didn't catch that! I like that one!

Maybe someone else has already remarked on this one. I watched the pairs final again last night. There's a moment in all that confusion between the end of the comp and the awards ceremony when Jamie is standing close to the camera. She plucks at her costume and says under her breath "I'm sweating like a pig under my armpits." You have to listen carefully, but I'm sure of it.

i think the strangest thing for me was that the whole thing was happening! we all had been waiting and predicting and fighting over who the winners would be and here it was. it was really...twilight zone like for me! LOL!!!!
