Tara Doherty & Tyler Myles, who placed 6th at this years Canadian National Championships in ice dance, will be making a to move to France to work with Anissina/Peizerat's & Dubreuil/Lauzon's coach, Muriel Boucher-Zazoui. They will also work with Nikolai Morozov on their 2004 programs.

Interesting. With B&K's retirement, the splitting up of Flynn/Gislason, the predicted downfalls of Piche/Denis and Wing/Lowe, it looks like this team will be making its move. And to practice with D&L will only help. Good luck to this team.

According to their official site, this is only a temporary move for summer training:

A post on the D&M mailing list says that they are training in France for the year. Anyone know for sure?

Anyway, this is quite the move for a team who is not even on the national team. Good luck to them. :)

So that's B&K, D&L, W&L, D&M and Karam & McGrath all training outsite the country. At this rate, soon there'll be no senior dance teams training in Canada!

me again...

For the summer they are going to train with Muriel Boucher-Zazoui. They are not sure if they will stay in Lyons after the summer. They want to wait and see how the summer goes before deciding on staying in france or returning to barrie...so they may or may not stay in Lyons after the summer.... I guess we'll just have to wait and see...

This is amazing news. I hope that they will stay with her if they feel comfortable living overseas. This is definately a team to look for in the future. I can see these two staying on for a very long time. Good luck to the both of them.

Good for them, this will be a good experience for them and help them take advantage of "the changing of the guard" next season.
