Kurt B's wife on tour?

Just curious, have any of you seen Kurt Browning's wife Sonia a the SOI shows? As she is on mat leave, it would be a perfect opportunity for them to spend some time together. I'm curious to know how lovely she no doubt looks with the expanding belly.

They sure timed it perfectly, he will be finished the tours before baby arrives then they will have the summer together to enjoy their new bundle. How exciting for them!

I wonder whether he will embark on US SOI next year or not.

I know Kurt's father accompanied him on some shows during the early part of the tour, but I don't remember hearing anything about Sonia. She was seen at the recent Hartford and Worcester shows, but no reports on how "far along" she looks yet. ;)

I don't know whether Sonia's travelling with Kurt for the rest of the tour or just those two shows, but I agree it would make sense. As for whether Kurt returns to U.S. SOI next year, unfortunately I don't think he'd do the entire tour (he's said several times how much he'd like to spend more time at home after having children). But hopefully he'll still skate in the (much shorter) Canadian tour and possibly make a few "special guest star" appearances (similar to what Katia and Scott are doing this year) in next year's U.S. tour as well. Considering how many injuries have plagued the SOI cast recently and considering how many skaters want to remain eligible and don't want to commit to a full tour, I think SOI may need to include more "special guest stars" in future years! :)

I seem to recall a mention in a review that Sonia was in Florida; I can’t be more specific than that.
There was a several days layover in Florida, so it could be true.

I bet Kurt don’t mind the traveling as long as Sonia is with him. :)
There will be a lot of excitement for Kurt’s fans come July with the baby arrival. My guess a baby boy. :)

Well, Sonia was pictured in the Toronto Sun newspaper with her ballet pals this past Monday, I believe...or maybe it was Sunday. It was some sort of fundraising thing or whatever. It only had her pictured from the chest up, but since she was tiny before, like most ballet dancers, I'd say she's filled out a bit in that area. So, obviously she was home for that.

Hmm ... Sonia travelling with Kurt might be great for Kurt, but not so great for Sonia and the baby. Esp. air travel. And I think many first-time expectant mothers might perfer to stay near home and near their own doctors.

While we're on the subject of expectant mothers travelling with SOI, I noticed Scott's wife Tracie has been accompanying him to quite a few shows, but perhaps they're only attending the shows where Scott is a special guest star...

Sonia was at the Rochester show last night. We didn't actually see her but there were 6 of us and we had a bunch of Canadian gear on and had brought a Canadian flag and someone told us that "there is someone here from the Canadian ballet and she noticed your flag" so we all assumed it was Sonia.

Yes, Sonia was at the Tampa show, along with Kurt's dad and other family members. They sat three rows behind me with my coach and his family.

In the middle of his program Kurt stopped and motioned his arm up in the stands to Sonia and had the sweetest look on his face. Later in the same program, he again looked up and motioned to my coach who was sitting at the other end of the row (they are long-time friends).
