Ordinals for U.S. Ladies Olympic Champs?

I am on a kick now.
I know Tara won with a 6/3 split, and Sarah with a 5/4 split (should have been 9/0!). What about Kristi, Dorothy, etc? Were ordinals used back then?

I believe Kristi won the free skate by a 7 to 2 margin over Midori and I think she got all firsts for the short program.

Purple Cat, I think you're right. BTW, I believe that Kristi Yamaguchi is the only women's Olympic Champ to win both portions of the competition since School Figures were eliminated.
