Thanks for posting. I don't really get it though - it says she was 10th in Novice and was hoping to move up to junior this year, yet a bit further down it said it was her first time she competed senior and last year she competed at junior nationals. I'm confused.

This was her first year at senior Nationals. Last year she competed at Junior Nationals. This is different than the "levels" at which she competes. Last year at Junior Nationals she was an intermediate. This year at Senior Nationals she was at the Novice level. She hopes to move up to Junior level next year. That Help?

I had a nice talk with Stephanie and her mother at Nationals. Both were very pleased with Steph's results - as they should be. I have been watching this kid for years, as she is very talented. Her coach, John Filbig, has a great program going in the Escondido area.
