I just got this email from a friend at work, I thought I'd pass it on.
"Hope with a Heart" - Celebrity Charity Skating Event
KeyArena, Saturday March 1, 1:00 p.m.
The Skating Guild of Children's Hospital and the Seattle Thunderbirds Hockey Club are pleased to present Hope with a Heart. This ice skating event will blend performances from Seattle's youth skating community with celebrity headliners, featuring Olympic Silver Medalist Rosalynn Sumners and Ice Capades' "Mr. Debonair" Richard Dwyer. The inaugural Hope with a Heart show is scheduled for March 1, 2003, 1:00 p.m. at KeyArena.
Our goal is to donate 100% of the proceeds to benefit uncompensated care at Children's Hospital, which ensures that no child is ever denied medical care due to their family's inability to pay. The concept for Hope with a Heart is "children helping Children's with a little help from the stars." The one-of-a-kind event will uniquely combine the voluntary efforts of talented young figure skaters in the Northwest with stars from the International skating community.
Ticket Price: $28 per person, general admission. Order tickets online at http://www.seattle-thunderbirds.com/Hope/index.html. For more information about this event, visit the web site or call 206-528-2777.
