Wow that was really good I was just looking over the past things that you posters that saw the events posted.

On a side note the other ppl that were involved in the post with Kevin Reynolds fighting over how old he was. Rod Black- OMG HE"S ONLY 12....didn you know..HE'S ONLY 12.... I CANT BELIEVE IT HES ONLY 12.... ya we got that! But WHAT a personality!

About the Jr Pairs WOW did jessica and Samuel ever make some mistakes... But I actaully can see why they were first they have really good flow and really nice lifts. But if I personally was on the panel I would have had Lindsay and her partner first.

So what were you thoughts THANKS

i think lindsay and her partner (yes, the name escapes me too!) skated their hearts out for the jr pair title, while jessica and sam started taking it more and more cautiously after jessica's first error. hands down, jessica and samuel have the best lifts and partner 'awareness', but i dont think it was the winning performance of the night. this, though, is all being said even though i havent seen either of them skate in real life, nor was i at canadians to see the actual event. videotapes, at least for me, are often very deceiving! you pick up more on some qualities, and less on other qualities of the pair.

I also would have had Lindsay and Christopher first, based on what I saw on TV. The decision was a 5/4 split so it was very close. BD was there and she said many people in the rink thought M&D should have won -- as did she.

I was quite impressed with Amanda Billings' potential. It looks like she's got all the 'tricks' -- she'll have to work on the 'stupid' mistakes -- and the pizzazz to go along with it.

I missed the men..:(

I saw Terra Findlay skate at Jr. Nat's she won a bronze in Novice Ladies. She is an amazing performer!! She also skated pairs in Junior and came fourth with her partner. I heard she only started pairs in July. I bet we'll see great things from them in the future. On another forum - of highlight from Canadians - it said she was a "little Jamie Sale" in training. I wonder if she will stick with pairs or singles?

Terra Findlay is amazing. She will be a STAR if puberty is kind to her. ;)

I was at Canadians for most of the week. Lindsay and Christopher had the skate of the night, in my opinion. They had much more power and they brought the audience into their program! There were some other elements where Dube & Tetrault were probably better but they were so cautious and just didn't have "it" that night. I told Christopher afterwards that they should have won - and I know a few others thought so too.

Lee, you missed a couple of great programs from the men. I was very impressed with Ken Rose (who ended up winning). I spoke to him afterwards as well, and he was so excited about trying two triple/triple combinations for the first time in competition. And watch how he jumps -my notes on that night were he looks like Elvis Stojko as he lifts his chin just like Elvis does! He laughed when I mentioned that as he trains at the Elvis Stojko Arena in Richmond Hill. His idol is Elvis. And, of course, during the coverage, Debbi Wilkes made the same comments!

All in all, our Alberta skaters did rather well that week.
