Article states that she has withdrawn due to her leg injury.:(

Looks like the link is down...part of the article states:

World bronze medalist Fumie Suguri and Winter Asian Games gold medalist Shizuka Arakawa will compete for Japan at the Grand Prix final in St. Petersburg, Russia.

Well, Arakawa is next in line. I'm hoping she doesn't accept the GPF for 2 reasons. One being her incredibly busy season for the last month or so ..... she herself said she feels tired ..... I would love for her to recoup and go gangbusters at worlds and blow everyone away.

Second reason would be that if she doesn't accept, Jen Robinson would be the next alternate and what an absolute treat it'd be for Jen to be a participant!!!!! Even if it's only just once.!

roogu..you and I are both hoping for the same thing!

There is still a chance that Viktoria may pull out of the GPF so there is hope still!!
