15 years ago today, Brian Boitano won his Olympic gold medal. :)

Me too! A little over a month before the Olympics I would've said, "Brian who?", 'cause that's how much skating I watched prior to the Battle of the Brians. I used to be an Olympics-only skating viewer.

ITA, Emanfan! He's still awesome and has only gotten better through the years. Me? Biased? Nah! ;)

I still remember watching the Battle of the Brians and how the event had been promoted that way and everything. LOL, I was literally on the edge of my seat watching Brian B. skate too! Wow, I still think that was one of the best freeskates ever at an Olys. What a performance. He was just phenomenal. I cried when he won too! :D Congrats Brian! And he is still an absolutely awesome skater too. :D

What a night of skating. I watched his lp every day for a month before I went to work. It still gives me chills. Just wonderful.
