Does anyone have any ideas for artistic music with an old lady remembering back to when she was young?
We are thinking of putting together this music with another piece where she is young again.
Any ideas of appropriate music titles would be appreciated!

"Silver Threads Among the Gold"???? Or somethinng comical like "The Old Gray Mare"? Young songs might be "When You Were Sweet Sixteen" or "Young Love" or whatever. Good luck!

How about "No Holly for Miss Quinn" or "Miss Clare Remembers" by Enya? They were written as songs of remembrance.

Try the soundtrack to "Iris" ... it goes back and forth between Iris as a young girl and Iris as old lady.

Well if you wanted a comic bent to it I would suggest "When I'm 64", however I liked Dan Hollander's "Dude looks like a lady" when he dressed as Mrs Doubtfire.

"When I Grow too Old to Dream"; "Golden Days" from "The Student Prince"; "September Song".

Thanks for the ideas.
I was also thinking of "when I was 17" as well as "Try to Remember ...September " (not sure of words).

"Try to Remembe" is from the musical The Fantasticks:

Jerry Orbach (now on Law & Order) sings it on the original soundtrack.
