I've been hearing the odd rumour of Elvis' tour coming back for this fall. Anybody have any info on this yet??

Yes he will resurrect his tour again this fall, and details will be coming soon.

I will be very happy to see this tour back, as it was always a high quality undertaking. It will be interesting to see what Elvis himself will do for it when he is more free to work at it rather than having the eligible season staring him in the face.

Good news!

I believe Elvis did tours from 1995 (?) - 1998. He had had such skaters as Michelle Kwan, Yuka Sato, Brian Orser, Liz Manley, Usova and Zhuelin, Nancy Kerrigan, Brassuer and Eisler, Phillippe Candeloro, Klimova and Ponanarenko, Punsalen and Swallow, Lauren Tobel, Rudy Galindo, are some of the skaters who I remember. I have always enjoyed his shows and am glad he sounds like he's bring them back. I think he stopped because the extra shows were too hard on his injury and then his training,

Of course Elvis will have elite skaters - of course he won't do the tour alone - gosh he would get tired skating by himself for two hours! :) But seriously, he always has some enticing skaters on his tours ... not to worry :)

I saw his show once in 1996, it was excellent, a first-rate production throughout.

I hope he comes back to Victoria!

I was at the show in 98 where Elvis didn't skate - yup, the Elvis tour with no Elvis  The rest of the cast did an amazing job though.

I was there too and I was so disappointed I wanted to cry! It was the first time I went to see Elvis skate but at least I was in the nose bleed section :).

Yuppers been to ever single tour Elvis did ... never missed one - from 1994 up until 1998 !!! Was VERY excited that he brought his tour to Sudbury the last year it ran. I didn't have to travel like 5 hours to see the show - which normally I attended in Toronto or Hamilton stops.

All the shows got better each and everyear. With some amazing skaters to go along with the tour. Will be a very happy fan if he made another stop in Sudbury again ... but if not it won't stop me from attending ...

Yup Donna,

Elvis said back in January at the Howard JOhnson in Hamilton in front of the elevators, that he wanted to do his tour again, when we spoke.

Hope Elvis brings his tour to Essex County. Windsor's Windsor Arena is too small but Leamington's Olympic size arena would be perfect if it has the seating compacity. I've never been to Leamington's area, so I don't know about the seating. I just know that the ice is real nice. Leamington's area is one of the few arenas in which I haven't skated. Maybe in the summer, I might guest skate there and then I will take a look at the seating.

Any word on the tour yet? Does anyone know what cities it will be coming to? I'm anxious to find out if it's coming to Winnipeg.
