NY Quebec 2014 Joint Winter Olympic Bid

Here's an update on the possible joint bid by NY State and Quebec for a joint 2014 Winter Olympics.

I think it's pretty absurd that the Gov. of NY and the Premier of PQ leaked out this idea that doesn't have the support of either federal government, the COA, or the USOC.... plus the IOC has yet to allow two countries to co-host an Olympics

Doesn't NY have a bid for 2012 summer games? I seriously doubt that they would get both.
