Well, I'm almost sure this has been done before, and of course it won't be as successful as my search for "the most beautiful guy in figure skating", but who cares?

Which figure skaters, do you think, could interpret the following characters just perfect??

Maria- Michelle Kwan (you need a brunette)
Tony- Jeffrey Buttle
Riff- Kurt Browning
Bernardo- Paul Duchesnay
Anita- Katarina Witt (although it's hard to picture her playing a second lead)
Doc- Scott Hamilton

I would have loved to cast Isabelle Duchesnay as Anita, but you have that brother/sister problem there. And of course these skaters are not all the right age at the right time.

Fun idea. I'm working on Officer Krupke and Anyones now!

And if you ever decide to do My Fair Lady- Sasha Cohen is Eliza Doolittle!:D

As Officer Krupke I'd vote for either Doug Ladret or Gary Beacom.

For Anyone's, how 'bout Tatiana Totmianina? She's got that boyish look.

I'd rather see Jamie Salé as Maria, and Michelle as Anita (I love Michelle's firey side). Then the obvious choice for Tony becomes David. ;-) (Although I agree Jeff would be a good choice too.)

Paul D. is a great choice for Bernardo, but I'd also suggest Emanuel.

I realized in my version the Jets are all Canadians, so Isabelle Brasseur gets the part of Anybody's (I think that's the name of the character).

Meanwhile, I've cast Brian Boitano as Henry Higgins.
