New S&P movie??

Looks like somebody successfully bought the TV-movie rights to Jamie and David's story:

S&P themselves are supposedely involved with this movie, so I only hope that will help make it much less cheesy than that Tonya/Nancy movie, the movie about the Duschenays made for Canadian TV awhile back, and every other skating-related movie I've ever seen! :lol:

I must admit I'm very curious to see who will play the lead roles, though! :)

Aw, I love those cheezy skating movies! :) I saw all the Nancy-Tonya ones and Oksana's life story. I'm sure it will be unknown/soap actors. Who else would want to be in a skating movie?

It sounds interesting, I'm actually quite looking forward to seeing it! As cheesy as some of the made for tv skating movies have been in the past, I've always enjoyed them, and this has the added bonus of being about my favourite skaters! I agree that it'll be unknown actors who they'll cast, just hope they find a guy with Dave's cute accent ;) !

It looks like S&P will have quite a bit of input in the production of this movie...and maybe even act as their own skating doubles! :)

I am glad Jamie & Dave will be involved in this. There is a much stronger chance that it will something very classy and true and not so much cheesy and fluff filled. :roll: I also found it kinda neat that this won't just be about the Olys but will be the whole story. Even I, the J&D fanatic, would rather not relive too much of the Olys story! 8O

Anyway, sounds interesting and I guess we will see how it all goes. :D

I've been waiting so long for this to happen. I dont think I will be dissipointed because both of these skaters are pretty classy and well pretty rich and they wont have a cheesy bad movie. I cant wait until Spring 2004! lol!
