I haven't seen this posted yet, but one of the kids who died in the avalanche this weekend was Marissa Staddon who skated novice for Alberta (13th in sectionals this year). My condolences to her family.

My condolonces to her family. I met Marissa briefly last year at Junior Nationals and watched her performances. I was just looking at the tape last week. It's just so sad.

One of the young men killed was the son of a judge in the Calgary area -- condolences to their family -- as well as the families of all the kids killed in the avalanche.
