I just found out that she is going to be one of the main voices in Mulan 2 which is slated for sometime this year... that will be a good one to see.

Wow!! That's very cool! I assume this will follow the the pattern of Disney sequels that have recently been released and go straight to video. I'll be watching for it!

There was a mention of this in an LA Times article on MK last summer. Yes, it will go straight to video.

The Times article pointed out that they gave her a cute line designed for skating fans who see the movie. She plays a shopkeeper named Michelle (how original!!! ) and she is offering spices/herbs, presumably to Mulan, and one of the offerings is:
"Fresh Salchow!!! Yum, yum!!!"
Nice to know Disney decided to target skating fans, not just kids with this one!!!!

I really cant wait to see this. I really like the way that Michelle is really 'broadening' her horizons. Its good to see that figure skaters are more then just skaters.THey are diversifyed. Good job Michelle

Is that ever cute! 8-)
I liked seeing her on Family Guy a few years ago. Has she done voices for any other cartoons?

Can't think of any other cartoons, but she did have a walk-on role in Sabrina the Teenage Witch (1999?, she wore the Dante's Prayer dress) and did an episode of The Jersey on the Disney Channel a year or two ago.
Oh, wait!! She did an episode of the children's cartoon, Arthur! I almost forgot about that one!

She also "appeared" in an episode of the Simpsons in a lineup of intelligent, talented people destined for the "A" ship leaving Earth
(I think this was a "Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy" parody bit) whereas Homer and Bart were consigned to the ship for lesser mortals (anyone who remembers better than me, correct me if I'm wrong).

You're not wrong, Yazmeen. And Tonya Harding was on the ship with the "bad" people. LOL!

I didn't know Disney sends sequels direclty to video. Mulan was a success and the Disney reputation will make this another blockbuster. Mulan2 might go straight to video in China where they rejected Mulan.

Dave - Disney is known for 'straight to video' releases of popular films. Examples are The Little Mermaid 2, Belle's Magical Christmas, Lion King 2 (where Simba's son magically turned into a girl), Pocahontas 2, etc.
They only released Toy Story 2 in the theaters after Pixtar had a fit that the Mouse owners were even considering a 'STV' for it.
OT - I'm writing a term paper this semester on the public outcry over Pocahontas not being PC! Of the 3 choices for papers given, it was the most fun to research. I might have to throw in a blurb about Michelle's Disney special years ago! :D
