Say, I'm not sure if I've asked this before or not. But has anyone hear ever seen the former Ice-Dance Team of Donna and John Mitchell skate in their competitive days? Also,does anyone know when she (or they) became Double Gold Medalist? Thanks.

Dana, are you sure that's the right Donna Mitchell? Her brother Mark skated for the U.S., and I had never heard she was Canadian. It's possible, but I'm skeptical. Also, I wouldn't have thought that she was old enough to have been on the world team in 1963. Again, possible, but I'm not convinced, especially since her brother was just at that level in the early nineties, and they don't look that far apart in age.

LOL, I would think so.....I mean there's only one former Ice-Dancer named Donna Mitchell in the Skating world. But for the record, the one I know is an Afercan/American Woman.

Dana - you've posted that you know Donna Mitchell, coach of the synchro team Team Millennium. She is Mark's sister and if she's an African-American, then I'm the Queen of Sheba!

Dana, you've mentioned her name several times. Anyone who knows where you're from can figure out who she is. Most people who are involved in skating within this small an area know each other. You've also asked multiple times whether there's anyone here from that team. It's a matter of putting two and two together. FWIW, I nearly figured out who this acquaintance of yours was long before you had mentioned her name. And I'm with Morgan, if she's African-American, then we're talking about different people.
