Questions about Skate America

Does anyone know if there are warm-ups before each event at Skate America like they have at Nationals? Also, is there a discounted rate at the official host hotel?

Hi T&BFan - If you mean the six-minute warm-up, yes. Before a group skates, they have to warm-up. If you mean like a warm-up practice right before the entire event (where some skaters attend and don't really practice hard but kind of loosen up), I don't think so. They would have practice earlier in the day, though.

I don't know anything about the official hotel in Reading.

If you pull up the hotels for the Reading area, you will find almost all list lowest rates in the 50 to 85 dollar region. This is a very reasonably priced competition to attend since all event tickets range from $100 to $155, if I recall correctly.
