Hi all!!!

I'm doing some research on something for our skating region and although i have info for this couple from worlds, I was wondering if they have ever been to the Olympics and there seems to be little out there for these Olympic years except for medalists:

Names:

Marianne Van Bommel and Wayne Deweyert-they were competitors for Netherlands, in ice dance, and were at Worlds from 1981-1984, placing in the top 20.... so I'm guessing it would be either 1980 or 1984 Olympics.

thanks in advance

They aren't listed in the results for either of those Olympics in the results at Skatabase, but I can't guaruntee that the results are complete. Here's the link anyway.

It's worth remembering that skaters have to qualify for the Olympics; their country can't automatically send them. Perhaps they didn't qualify or the Olympic federation decided not to send them?

TSP stands for technical set pattern which they no longer do.

Trixie - thanks for the explanation. I don't do dance. Suppose I could have looked it up, but I wanted to get the information up for JD asap.

JD - have you checked here to see the information you asked for?

You're welcome. We do try to help each other out any chance we get.
