Just wondering if anyone knew what Lori Nichol has been up to. Does anyone know if she choreographed anybody's skating programs this year? The only one I can think of is Fumie (I think!?!?)

Hi Jamie. I know that Lori Nichol choreographed Angela Nikodinov's long program ("Afternoon of a Faun"), but, unfortunately, we didn't see Angela perform this stunning program at U.S Nationals. It wouldn't surprise me if Angela kept the program for next season. I believe Lori also choreographed Tim Goebel's short program "Romeo & Juliet" and Jennifer Robinson's programs.

And Fumie's Swan Lake is definitely done by Lori, I believe her other program is too.

Lori's choreography for Fumi and Tim haven't really been memorable, IMO. Maybe it's due to the skater but I don't really like Fumi's swan lake program at all nor anything that she has done for Jen Robinson.

For me, the problem with Fumie's program is that her style totally does not match with the music for Swan Lake. I don't think Fumie's is a well constructed program at any rate (it doesn't all come together, IMO), but after seeing Maria B. power and attitude skating to Swan Lake, Fumie's skating to it does nothing for me, personally.
