Say,who are you proud to have for an aquaintance in the Skating world?
Ah, I can only dream...:)
But I guess I have to say:Christine Lee (http://www.icecalc.de/isu/bios/isufs00003935.htm)
We were casual school friends for so long and I never knew she skated at the senior and junior worlds and 4CCs - I just didn't connect the name and the person! She never talked about her skating, it cracks me up. I'm proud to know someone so kind and talented.

Well, the only skater I've ever met personally and talked to is Sasha Cohen. I met her for the first time at Nats 2 yrs ago when I was one of the winners in the Keri Lotion-sponsored sweepstakes - we got a trip to Boston for the men's and ladies' finals and a skating clinic w/ Sasha and Peggy Fleming on Sun. morning, plus we got to go to the team breakfast at a sky box at the arena (where I met MK, Todd, and others) and the exhibition. I thought Sasha was very sweet and handled the entire event beautifully - especially since she'd had to withdraw from the comp due to injury. My mom and I said hello to her at Nats last year and she remembered us. She's very gracious and always smiles and looks people in the eye.

KBW,
Do you know if Kristine is still skating and representing Hong Kong?

She's not on the roster for Four Continents, so I'm not sure. Wasn't she really into her education and she was either in the middle of or starting college?

Trifun Zivanovic.
All the people I know who volunteer great amounts of personal time at the various levels of the sport out of the sheer love of the sport and the desire to make it stronger and better for all participants.

Dave Pelletier, Elvis, Rudy Galindo, or Takeshi... best female is definetly Elizabeth Manley she's the greatest
