I just got my tapes of Trophie Lalique and was really impressed by Alisa Drei. I have her on video from 96 Junior Worlds and have seen a few other programs since them, but I really enjoyed her performance from Lalique. She really skated well but her interpretation was lovely and she seemed to be totally enjoying herself (which at other times she has looked like it was too much effort). She has nice jumps and good spins. I was very impressed. Nice to see a skater skate to what she is capable of.

Yoshie Onda has obviously tried to improve her artistry but I wish she wouldn't wear those over the boot tights - they really affect her line and I think she would be nice to watch if she didn't wear them. However her exhibition was really good. She picked a fun piece of music and just looked she had a blast. And with those hipster pants she was wearing it improved her line so much better. And she did show she could interpret the music really well. Maybe she just needs to pick more suitable music )and wear hipsters during her regular programs).

I've seen Yoshie live at the Bofrost Cup. She was gut, is a good jumper. But you're totally right: I think quicker music or even modern pieces would better fit to her personality !
