Just watching my tape from 2002 US Nationals with a fluff piece on Sarah. Emily has a pony tail, which makes the similarities between the two siblings even more amazing.

Yes, the sisters look very much alike; I saw them both at U.S. Nationals last January. They also share much of the same mannerisms while skating.

I saw Emily skate a few years ago and maybe in a few year or two she will catch up to Sarah? It would be amazing to see Sarah & Emily stand together on the podium at the next Olympics! But I was waiting for that to happen with Michele Kwan and her sister!

Yep, Sarah & Emily are definitely cut from the same cloth! :wink:
You should see the brothers!! I saw them in person at the "Top 25" screening in NY, and I swear, I've never seen a family with so much genepool likeness between them! Although the brothers look much more like their mom, Emily & Sarah look more like their father.

Sorry to be off topic but I have always thought that Sarah looks a lot like the girl in American Pie who always says "there's one time, in bandcamp..."

You're not off topic, Marco. A lot of people, including myself, think that Sarah and Alyson Hannigan look like they're separated at birth! To be honest, Alyson's the only reason I like either the American Pie stuff or Buffy the Vampire Slayer.

Well, to me they look different. YOu can tell they are sisters, but Emily is very perky, very cute, almost like a fairy tale character, very, very sweet (I was around her a bit at Skate America off the ice and could observe her).

Sarah is more serious -- I could see her being a US Senator or something.
