posted on USFSA webpage. Angela talks about being a perfectionist. That explains a lot about her. She sounds like she is in skating for the long haul because she loves it. I have often wondered about what keeps her going after so many bad skates. Good Luck to her!

That was a great article. I've always been a huge fan of Angela's and I will be cheering extra loud for her in Dallas. I hope she has two great skates at Nationals.:D

It's a nice article. Gee I didn't know she was sick too. Hopefully she'll skate well at Nationals.

I hope Angela does well at Nationals...I admire her for her strength in dealing with what she had to go thru, and even tho she is an underdog at Nats, she can do it!! The article shared some things that I didnt know about her, and it was nice to get a report!!

Wouldn't it be great fun if Angela won at US NATS? If Elena could be Russian Champ this year, why not Angela as US Champ! I realize it is most likely not her year, but it would still be great fun.

It sure would be, AxelAnnie:). Stranger things have happened...

I don't understand the part about being a perfectionist- isn't Sasha one too? It's more about dealing with the pressure, imo...

I think any skater who has made it where these skaters have has to be a perfectionist...I agree with Yogurtslinger in that its just dealing with the pressure, cuz everyone has the skill in order to be successful thus far.

I think that there is a difference between being a perfectionist and feeling like you have to be perfect. Sasha may be a perfectionist.....but she doesn't appear to invalidate herself when she isn't perfect. I think that may be what Angela does.
