Is here anyone who knows who is going to the Winteruniversiade 2003 in Tarvasio in Itlay the 16-26th of January. Here is what I know so far:

Are these numbers only for the figure skaters? Because they will also have events in speed skating & skiing. So far, USFSA has only announced two entries for figure skating:

I think it will be interesting to see the growth in these collegiate events. They really seem to be trying to fast track synchro for consideration as a NCAA women's sport. While synchro may not be my thing, it is definitely a positive trend that can lead to other additions of interest. :)

For the Czech republic - if we have only one man entry, it must have been Lukas Rakowski, he is the only men in University at the time being. As for the ladies - we canīt have any entry as both only eligible ladies - Ulehlova and Hegerova - are injured. Itīs funny that Berankova should be there but as Otto Dlabola is older and not studying she canīt. I think the term of the Universiade is strange as the Europeans are at the same time.
