Hi all. On December 9th, my husband for Christmas ordered for me the Champions On Ice DVD set from Ten Mayflower Productions. He should have ordered directly from COI, but at the time he ordered I had read a thread on here about Ten Mayflower selling the tapes, and directed him to that site as an idea for Christmas gifts for me. It didn't occur to me to just order it directly from COI (duh!)

So here it is closing in on Christmas and the tapes haven't arrived. So he went to the website to find a number to call. But he soon found out there is no number available. Not only that, but none of the other links on the site WORK AT ALL except for the "Order Now!" for the skating DVD and the credit card page! And since that was all he was ordering, he never explored the rest of the site to find that the other links were dead.

So does anyone have any info on these guys? Someone here suggested them, so someone's gotta know something. I do believe we've been ripped off, so we'll call the credit card company to cancel the charge and report it if the DVDs don't show up in a few days. And I won't have the present I wanted. :(

Okay, I found the original thread here that discussed these tapes. it's called "Champions on Ice video- Volume 1 (1987-93)" from November 21st. A link was provided to the Ten Mayflower website. If anybody has any way to get in touch with these guys I'd really appreciate it. Thanks.

I got the SLC OLympics DVD's that were put out by Ten Mayflower, and those are very good quality, but I got mine in FYE here in CT.

My sister bought the tapes for me as an X'mas present as well.

I don't expect them to come in time for X'mas though.

My sister was also wary of the website, and didn't want to order through it.

I had an old Ten Mayflower brochure from when they were in Los Angeles which contained a phone number.

Somehow, my sis traced them to Connecticut, and actually talked to a real person, and put in an order.

My mom ordered the DVDs for me, and I got them today. :D She says she received them rather quickly, too.

The videos are advertised in Blades on Ice, and in that ad there is a toll-free number for ordering. It is 1-888-840-8872. There is also a fax number of (203)-324-5299.

I ordered my DVD's from Ten Mayflower on Dec 23 and received them today, Dec 31. No problems at all!

Now that I've watched most of the three DVD set, I'm inclined to say that they are somewhat of a rip-off. A lot of the music that the skaters used was substituted on these tapes with cheesy, generic versions. Some of it is very badly sung, too.

I meant to post this after Christmas, but have been off the computer for a while. I did finally receive the DVDs, but a few days after Christmas. So my husband bought me another gift for Christmas! Thanks to all for your responses
