Although this show wont be everyone's cup of tea, and it took quite a while getting to the good parts (i.e. Elvis <g>) I thought Elvis did a great job - in fact very natural and charming. He had a sizable role which focussed on making fun of his 'extreme masculinity' - a magnet for all the girls in the special of course (and as a fan of the man, I can understand the attraction. <g>) And it was great to also have a chance to see him skate a short number even if he was in disguise. Those are obviously magic skates he has been wearing all these years!

I thought it was hilarious. "Say, aren't you Elvis Sojko, world champion figure skater and famous heterosexual?" LOL Classic Dave Foley satire.

I agree, not everyone's cup of tea, but a humorous change from some of the overly sentimentalized stuff. I also enjoyed Jann Arden's bits, and the Bing Crosby and David Bowie spoof.

My husband ROTFLOL every time the cast referred to Elvis as "world champion figure skater and famous heterosexual". He kept repeating it. Nice to see normal people shown on TV for a change.

I found it very interesting how Elvis pretended to look at Dave's skating while he obviously had to look at something else. Elvis doubled for Dave to get the shot because we all know, it's not the skates but Elvis. LOL Silly but really fun.
