Got this from Toly
at MKF!

He doesn't have the transcript but here is some of what Michelle had to say, it's interresting:

She talked about her new coach, new choreographer,
new rink, and new trainer.

She's busy training for nationals and she's looking forward for
a new MK at nationals.("I hope everyone will be surprised at nationals",
"I'm working with a new choreographer and keep on reinventing myself")

She'll be attending UCLA next quarter.

She also talked about her joy of competing after almost a decade of competing.

She talked about her good luck charm necklace that she hasn't taken off in over 12 years. And how when doing photo shoots the photographers always want her to take it off.

She also talked about Olympic disappointments and more.("If I never win the Olympics, I will always be content....I have a great skating career.")

Toly said it was a great interview(21 minutes)
and he like the rest of us can't wait until nationals!

Wouldn't next quarter at UCLA overlap with Nationals, Grand Prix Final, and Worlds?
That's an interesting time to go back to school.

Wow can't wait to read that interview. Good to hear she's going back to school. I don't think it will interfere too much with the rest of the season. She has had a lot of time to train. Sounds like she is ready for the rest of the season. I Can't wait to see the new Michelle.:D

If she goes back to UCLA next quarter and only takes a light load --like one or maybe two classes-- it might actually help her. Ya know, with her mindset. It does help sometimes to have another interest that takes up some of your time and relieves some of the pressure.

New coach? Williams. New Choreographer? Morosov. New rink? I remember reading about that. New trainer? Who's that? And what does the trainer specifically do vs. what the coach does? Off ice training? Things like Pilates, Yoga, Dance, Cardio?
