Alexei Yagudin News update.

Say, did anyone see the Sports section of the paper yesterday? It was talking about Aleexi Yagudin's skating career possibly ending because of a hip injury. Anyone else read this?

If it's ending, it would be his amateur skating career. I believed he said once he would like to win one more world title. He might come to a realization that if the surgery he'll have in the spring doesn't work out, he just have to move on to his professional career - with much less difficult jumps - and appreciates what he has now.

He's being much more realistic towards his future now, even if he may not compete anymore....he is such a talented skater, and I would love for him to compete again, but only to return healthy. If he decides to turn pro, he should be very proud of his career as an amateur, because he has already left a legacy, and has accomplished so many things in this sport!
