I'm hoping to get up there this afternoon and evening. Did you see most of these competitions? I'm curious to know how the top two juniors skated, and all of the seniors. Also, I'm wondering if the groups for intermediate and novice ladies will remain the same for the long...

I saw the junior men in the long--I have details in my report, linked above. Jason Wong skated extremely well, while Matthew Blumenfield had a really rough performance, so it wasn't much of a competition. I didn't see any of the novice men.

I saw the Novice mens event
I have to say I was very impressed with Brad Vigerito (winner)
He had a presance on the ice that was easy to watch. He was clearly the winner in that event
I am sure we will see alot from this guy in the future
Brad
Loved the vest.......perfect for the program............

Did anyone see the juvenile final round?
I did stay to see SOME of the juveniles....but I have to say that they were good! Those little skaters are great jumpers! I dont even know how the results were for the juvenile girls were because it was really late, (poor kids had to skate at like 10:00pm!) although, i was impressed by Tanya M. (?) who i havent seen in quite a while. She is now working with Mark and Peter who are coaching MOST of the people in the competition! lol :D
The Juvenile Boys were good too....sorry i dont know much about these skaters, they are all pretty knew names to me!
I have to comment on the novice mens group! I am used to seeing clean programs from these boys but they were not on that day! All with the exception of Brad Vigoritoe! (sp?) He was the only guy in the event who looked confident and strong. He easily won the group, I havent really heard of him before....maybe he was intermediate last year???? Good LUCK to everyone!! You are all very talented.
I saw the Novice Men and although I'm just a spectator and not up on all the technical things -I have to say Brad Vigerito looked like he was having the time of his life. :D It's great to see a male skater with so much personality!

Trillian, thanks for the link to your post! very informative!
My group lesson coach had a couple kids competing, but they didn't fare very well, I guess :( My skate pro had a few kids entered as well, I think they did OK :) I definitely need to get my butt down to Reading next year...
