Well, it's looking more like she will go to the GPF, but as expected, won't make the announcement until Nationals. Also, it's confirmed that she is indeed continuing to work with Williams & Morosov on her programs! ;)
Interesting news on Yagudin as well. A good read.....

This is a good article. So was the other one about Sarah and Tim. A good article day today!
I'm glad that Michelle is still tweaking her programs. Although I very much like her interpretation of Aranjuez, it did need some more "stuff" in there. I'd love to see two footwork sequences and, of course, her falling leaf! I think The Feeling Begins is pretty stunning as is, but can't wait to see it with a few more miles of practice on it.
I'm guessing that she'll make it to GPF. I'm also sensing that she's not competing at Nationals to come in second. Anyone else get that impression?

Sounds like Michelle is wating to see how she places at US NATS before she commits to entering the GPF. I thought if you participated in the GP, and qualified for the final, barring injury, you were obligated to go. I don't get it.
Can't wait to see everyone skate at Nats. Good thing it is not live on the Left Coast - I am sure my tender heart would not make it through!

I hear you AxelAnnie....I was 5th row in the audience last year at Nationals...and I had to medicate myself just to attempt to keep calm...lol. ;)
TV is bad enough, live is not only more exciting, but more stressful!

My only guess here is that, in trying to pursuade Michelle to do SA, the USFSA must have made her a deal where she did not have to go to the final. No one thought she would make it anyway. Now that she has, they're probably trying to get her to go regardless. That would explain the ISU telling the USFSA that it's "imperative" that she go. Otherwise, there wouldn't be a question that she had to go. Since it was reported that she wasn't paid a fee for be a SA, they must have made some other concession.
